How much does censorship have effect or influence on us? Is a question that come through my mind when the new said Thai government will have single gate way system? This make me thinking about censorship in Thailand. In oxford dictionary said censorship mean “The suppression or prohibition of any parts of books, films, news, etc. that are considered obscene, politically unacceptable, or a threat to security.”

I interested in the Thailand education that the system was created by the government. I realized that when I was in the school I never study about political in Thailand for example; Preedee Pranomyong, Por Phibulsongkram or Thaksin Shinawatra. These people are the people make lots of different in Thailand but they got erase from the history.

First factor that got impact by censorship in education is reader. Readers are the reason writer’s put the message to communicate through the audience. They are a process that writter need cut off their some idea or creativity because of the censorship. Readers are being controlled by censorship and the censorship is controlled by goverment.

I created an artwork with digital tool by using image convert to text. In this method I used Preedee Pranomyong as a model because he is another important man that was erased from the history.

In the first experiment I used only two digit of numbers to represent code in digital era. The picture that we see in the display computer isn’t what it is because behind the picture is a code that was written to create a picture for you to see.

In the second picture I used a history that grade 10–12 need to study instead of politic in the past. They need to study about ayutthaya period and explore about the king in those period. Those information is use to censor and divert about many important politic people in the past
