This week I had a chance to visit Sprawl.com and the video called Digital Forensics as Psychosis. Benjamin H. Bratton, Maryam Monalisa Gharavi. The video was talking how the media got distort or narrative by highlight for proporganda other. This make me thinking about censorship in Thailand. In oxford dictionary said censorship mean “The suppression or prohibition of any parts of books, films, news, etc. that are considered obscene, politically unacceptable, or a threat to security.” In Thailand censorship was directly depended on military government which control over broadcast media, political pressure , the use of economic and crticism of the king banned by the constitution. In Thailand we have a lot of news that we was banned to see or the government not allowed broadcast media to present it. In the other way censorship can make you missunderstand the truth. For ex:

What do you think they are holding?

.

.

The truth is ….

“And so that’s why I think indexical of, like, for example captioning or circling parts of hihlighting the blurs of the image and giving them of narrative expression become so tricky” Said by Maryam Monalisa Gharavi. I agree with her imediately and it inpire me to think about censorship and how it distort the information and why the government need to control the censorship?
